FIFA 22: You should play fift like the professionals - 7 new settings
Infifa 22 there will be some innovations. This also includes that in competitive game modes such as the Weekend League a new setting applies: different tools for players fall away.
What is this for a change? In the new pitch notes to the gameplay (via EA Sports) is emphasized that the game in FIFA is to feel fairer. Frustrating gameplay situations that come about, because apparently not that happens what you enter on the controller should be eliminated.
For this purpose, EA SPORTS has spoken consultation with FIFA professionals and intensively playing FIFA fans to increase fairness in the gameplay: "Some themes kept seeing language again: the players wanted more control, a higher skill limit and more consistency at certain actions, "says the statement.
"For this reason, we extend the competitive settings of FIFA 22. While you are mandatory in some modes, the competitive settings are available for all players in each mode of FIFA if you want to play with them."
Somewhat similar, developers Sam Rivera had already indicated in MeinmMo interview.
In these modes, the changes: The new competitive settings are mandatory in the following modes, so can not be changed.
- FUT RIVALS
- FUT CHAMPIONS
- Online Seasons
- Koop Seasons
- Per clubs
More control, but also trouble with new settings
This changes: After a current state, 7 settings are mandatory in the above modes. These are mainly supportive settings that help with automatisms while playing. Just newcomers can benefit from these supports, while professionals are likely to turn them off anyway to have complete control.
The changes are:
- Context-dependent agile dribbling: out
- Automatic liberation: off
- Automatic Flair Passes: Off
- Automatic shots: off
- Header support: out
- Drude: Manual
- Steep passport: Semi
What do the changes mean? Here we look at what influence the settings have.
Drude : Manual means that there is neither tempo support nor direction support when pushing in the defensive. In "supported" mode, there is tempo help, so you remain close to the opponent - that will now be gone.
Automatic flair Passes: Are the turned on, players can perform flair passes without additional inputs depending on the game situation. This can help if, for example, a hacking trick pass is the better choice than to run a turn and then the passport. The flair modifier must be switched off.
Automatic liberation strokes: Pressure can sometimes take the ball in the defensive sometimes to defuse a situation first. The option is now gone and liberation will only be executed when you enter them yourself.

- 5 innovations so that per clubs this time is really good
- 3 reasons why FIFA 22 necessarily needs a demo again
Automatic shots: That came rarely before, but it was possible that, for example, in a corner non-controlled players sought the conclusion. That came a bit on the context. Such shots fall away.
Agiles Dribbling : The context-dependent agile dribbling allowed it to dribble in 1-counter-1 depending on the situation with the left stick. This is deactivated.
Header support : It should be a more relaxed gaming experience by adapting your header direction and thickness. Without the support you have to drive these head balls manually and more precisely. So there is more on your own entries.
The steep passport : "With help" made sure that passes are adjusted in the run as so as possible that the ball goes in the direction of the teammate and is not intercepted. On "Semi", that is the new standard setting, the direction and strength of the ball are only partially supported. By the way: Under "Manual" the ball flies exactly in the direction in which you look.
How do you see the new changes? Does much change for you - or have you adapted the settings manually anyway? Tell us in the comments!
