Pure goose bumps: These are our favorite video game trail
Trailer awaken interest, let us get on a game, but there are always an impression of the game in the criticism, which is not held to the release. But today it should not go around the shadow sides, but the short films that we have not forgotten until today and always trigger a pleasant feeling in us.

Linda still gets goose bumps at Elden Ring
Linda Sprenger: What was that bang! During the E3 2021, I had not really expected that, but then it happened: Elden Ring was revealed in a very first right trailer. In it, we not only get a first insight into the open game world, but also a number of opponents, bosses and many more small details.
And what should I say? After I saw the trailer, I was up and off, hurt in the world of Elden Ring around and died thousand deaths that blessed me every time with even greater anticipation. Jap, Elden Ring looks just as I wished. Another cracking adventure full of bizarre enemies, dangers and secrets. And - I'm sure - full of unforgettable memories.
Annika celebrates the Cinematic Trailer to Assassin's Creed
Annika Bavendiek: Trailers are an art for themselves. All the more I am pleased if trailers inspire me so that I even save them so I can look at them easier. My collection is, how could it be different as Assassin's Creed fan of the first hour, filled with some fantastic cinematic trailers of the game series. Underrupted with songs, for example from Woodkid, this Assassin's Creed Trailer simply spray a certain drama and power that brings me again and go goose bumps.
First of all, the Cinematic Trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity, which was shown on E3 2014. In combination with the song "Everybody Wants to Rule The World" by Lorde, we see how the people live against the oppression at times of the French revolution together with assassins. A fight for freedom, equality and brotherhood, not only in the game, but also in reality is an important estate, which makes the trailer all the more effective for me.
Eleen realizes only trailers who make fun of themselves
Eleen Reinke: I am no one who really attaches great importance to trailers and accordingly my reaction is rarely beyond a "Hm, very nice". Of course, one or the other trailer awakens to me neatly anticipation for a game (the first trailer to Horizon Zero Dawn for example), but what exactly it was in the short video then I forgot quickly.
Accordingly, I had to rummage a little in my mind to find a trailer in which in fact something has stood. But I did not have to go back too, because the first teaser to The Outer Worlds 2, which was shown on E3 2021, has remained in mind. Not because of the impressive graphic or the (non-existent) gameplay, but due to the narration. The narrator himself is funny about the schema-F construction of the trailer, which actually says nothing about the game itself and summarizes in words, which I often think of first teasers: chic pre-rename CGI, but actually nothing stands. The main thing HYPE.
This humorous handling of a first teaser trailer, who actually stated nothing, was not only quite refreshing, but has also reflected well the humor of the Outer Worlds ... and thus just revealing something about the second part.
Dennis got at The Last of US 2 Reveal Gänseple
Dennis Michel: Felt Eternities Ghosted in 2016 rumors around the net and then it was finally so far, The Last of US Part 2 was announced during the PlayStation Experience in December immediately with a four-minute trailer. The first look at a visibly aged Ellie, the first look at Joel. Pure goose pellet!
Although it was also added that all that looked very incredibly good, but one thing was even better: Ellies Song she played on the guitar. "Through the Valley" from the US musician and Songwriter Shawn James is a force. The song goes, especially in the original, directly into the Mark. For me personally, the reveal trailer is therefore due to its melancholy mood and its pure meaning "it really comes a second part", until today one of the best ever.
Tobi looked at the first RDR2 trailer for a hundred times
Tobias Veltin: It was clear that it would come at some point. When Red Dead Redemption 2 then at the end of 2016, however, was actually announced with a trailer, I was now and then. Although the slightly more than one-minute teaser has not yet revealed much of the game itself, but with impressive panoramic shots already showed the variety and detailed inspection of the game world and objects in it. Together with the quiet music enthusiast, that already put a very concise, almost documentary sound and created an atmosphere that joined me when looking at the trailer.
And in the retrospect, the Announcement trailer of RDR2 is also one who ended up what he promised. Because the graphic level of the trailer could keep the finished game loose and also set standards in terms of credible and organically acting game world. The trailer was the perfect appetite for this great Open World game.
And now you are in the row. Which trailer has not gone out of your head until today or which is your favorite?
