Sonic Colors: Ultimate: Overview of the WISPs and their powers

As we have already reported, Sega has released the second Spotlight trailer to Sonic Colors: Ultimate, the AdrenalingLaden HD remake of the iconic Sonic Colors from 2010.

In the latest trailer, Sonic fans meet the colorful WISPs (Irish Lights) that enable Sonic to achieve new heights while Dr. med. Eggman's incredible interstellar amusement park travels.

Here is an overview of the WISPs and their powers:

  • White WISP - fills the boost display and accelerates at super speed. Obstacles and opponents in the way are destroyed.
  • Cyan WISP - transforms Sonic into a mighty cyan-colored laser so that he moves lightning fast and papped through the opponents.
  • Jade WISP - transforms Sonic into a Jade-Spirit that can fly around and penetrates solid objects to find hidden areas.
  • Rosa WISP - Transforms Sonic into a pink sting, which can attack walls and ceilings of rolling up and enemies.
  • Green WISP - Transform Sonic into a green hole shape to achieve higher areas, so it can float past treacherous obstacles.
  • Orange WISP - transforms Sonic into an orange rocket, which hisses high into the air and reached unparalleled heights.
  • Blue WISP - Exchange Blue Rings and Blue Blocks to open new routes. Transform Sonic into a blue dice when he can trample opponent.
  • Yellow WISP - Transform Sonic into a yellow drill. He can thus dig into the ground or fast through the water.
  • Purple Wisp - puts Sonic into a hungry purple intoxication and he devours everything on what makes him in the way.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate appears on September 7 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One Consoles and Nintendo Switch. As a bonus, the trading version contains an exclusive baby-Sonic key chain.
