Destiny 2 developer is angry at your fashion statement
The fashion magazine destiny 2 Threads of Light in itself is a cool idea. It should honor the fashion consciousness of the players and promote. However, this is now gone off belonging to the rear. The community finds the fashion tastes of the developer, after only two editions, just awful.
Threads of Light is the digital fashion magazine of Destiny 2. It has published earlier this week its second cover with new looks. However, fashion and excellent taste in fashion for Destiny 2 player is no fun. That had to Bungee to learn the hard way, as the guardians of the fashion tastes of the developer did not want to share more.
Destiny 2 players criticize Bungee s fashion choices: After the unveiling of the latest Cover Stars broke a storm of indignation. This went so far that not only Bungee directly, but also the featured players in person, Vanquish, and Twisty Dawson son, the full force of community discontent were hit.
Following the announcement of who graces this edition the cover, Destiny asks Ash 2 players on Twitter:
Seriously? These are the best you found her?
And the player Slayer commented:
[...] There is a fashion competition. Why on earth the players who look as if they had just started the game and their highest light armor dressed, presented in a FASHION Magazine?
ToxicNipples then speculated also, on Bungee s selection criteria:
Soon basically you draw your guardians as a clown and Bungee chooses you out? Caught!
Above all, the question of what criteria Bungee winners looks selects, was always subject. It does not make Bungee players always easy cool looks put together. But the players have so far always try the best to make it.
This fashion sense has always been questionable
That Bungee in fashion does not always hit the nail on the head, players will find a long time. Certainly there are some really cool armor in the game, no question. But sometimes has Bungee interesting Geschmacksverirrungen, where players ask what absurd idea has brought the developers to implement something.
Creative freedom meets Surrealism: Current Season 15 iron banner Armory from Destiny 2 for example, have huge as feature Alien nests. And who remembers the Warlock Owl from the moon? Definitely one of the looks with a warlock can not inspire much.
After so much nagging Bungee was fed up : After these comments, it was always rude and was not good at the Studio at. An opinion is an opinion and should be allowed to be expressed. However, many comments were partly personal hostility towards the winners and disrespectful. Finally, answered Bungee community manager Griffin Bennet with its own tweet.

Bungee challenges players to be better!
He brought clearly expressed that the Destiny-2 community had gone thus too far. If the community is still so toxic and negative, and other players has demolished without reason, it would be better to stop cooperation with the fashion magazine.
Certainly Fashion is art. Taste is subjective, But he also appealed, players should question their own comments:. Imagine you come into the responses before and someone insults your art. Insanely inappropriate.
What was the reaction of the community? The Aflutter has actually made a difference. Many commentators supplemented their statements or apologize afterwards among the winners for their personal attack. It was disrespectful to forget the time and the personal idea of the players behind the looks.
How does the future look of Threads of Light? It was certainly trying to set a harsh statement, the whole concept of Destiny 2 fashion magazine due to such inappropriate comments directly. But it is also understandable that Bungee is reluctant to continue a project that attracts so much criticism. Anyone who wants to participate in a contest where the victory means that one of hundreds of Destiny 2 players mocked is?
At the moment it looks as if the developers this option to abandon the magazine, for the time being not consider. It has definitely improved since I ve made my comment. Great to see.
So you can participate in Threads of Lights
If you are not scared that, you can of course still in action join and send your looks at Bungee. To participate, posting a picture of your guardian looks on Instagram or Twitter and use the hashtag ThreadsOfLight. Do not forget to mark @DestinyTheGame in this posting.
It remains to be hoped that the Destiny community takes something and is slightly more tactful in her criticism. Because many players have fun to present their keepers in this true endgame of Destiny 2. The community posts daily tons of new looks. In the R / DestinyFashion Reddit you can see many new applications for the magazine cover. And that should be like this in the future. Which opinion do you have the competition? Was the criticism justified or do you say that is art and that is always in the eye of the beholder? Was the reaction of bungee too hard?
