Five change - halftime
Up to five outskirts per team and game should be permanently possible in the future in the future.
At the meeting of the International Football Association Board (IFA), a corresponding recommendation was submitted, which on the Annual General Meeting on 4/5. March 2022 in Zurich should be adopted. The number of times when changing is possible should remain limited. Thus, no more than three changes should still be allowed within a halftime.
The currently temporarily limited regulation with five instead of three offings per team in the regular season had decided the IFA in May 2020.
This should be reacted on the tightly crowded calendar with a view to the well-being of players. Decisive for the application of the rule were the respective associations, in the Bundesliga she had been taken directly to the new beginning after the Corona pause. Last May, the IFA had allowed five possible outlays until 31 December 2022.
The proposal to extend the half-time break of 15 to 25 minutes should not be pursued further. Several members expressed concerns, among other things due to the possible negative influence on the well-being of the players after a longer break.
